Ask yourself this vital question – how do you overcome your enemy? I am sure all of us have our own ways – violent or non-violent, it can be one of them or an assortment of both. I know for a fact that you need to first respect your enemy to win over your enemy. It’s the quintessential factor for studying their strengths and weaknesses without prejudice. Understand, to overcome – it’s a rudiment but potent thought.
So, this brings me to my next question – what is your real enemy – it is the devil within you. It’s my diabolical nature that I curb and shun yet lingers in my mind and some day becomes an action for which I end up being remorseful. How do I overcome this? Its been killing me from within and this is what I came up with. You begin by understanding your enemy. Never shun your devilish thoughts – instead respect, debate and understand them. The more you understand it, the easier it will be to take them out – it can be greed, lust, pride, ego, anger, jealousy or any other emotion that creates negativity.
But taking the devil out of you is just the beginning, the good too should be expunged, as, it is equally responsible for having devilish thoughts – why, because where there is good there has to be bad- one cannot survive without the other. Now, how do you understand and remove your good thoughts – again, by respecting, debating and understanding.
What happens now – your mind reaches a fine balance without any good or bad thought – it creates a balance that leads to a state of voidness. Here, you control your thoughts and desires not the other way round. And, you will be at peace – accepting both good and bad in others without any prejudice. However, the question I am asking myself is how hard am I trying to make this happen and realize that I have a long way to go in understanding this path of righteousness – I lack the wisdom.

Nice, matured writing…
Nicely written! though I feel its easier to win over the enemy within but now-a-days we gotto befriend the enemy within us to help us kill the enemies around us in the world.
